Unplanned trip

hey peeps... I'm back... after a loooonngg week. What's up??? Last Wednesday, my sweet housemates, Dina & Aida treated me for my bday at Nando's Mid-valley. We ate a LOT until we were very2 full and couldn't even finish our brownies-ice-cream-dessert (we bought it for charity... yeah, right) haha. Right after that, I rushed to Pudu to catch a bus to Melaka. Reached Kota Mas around 8pm (it's not Kota Mas anymore... I thought I'd stopped at the wrong place) Hazmi picked me up (as always... obviously). Went for dinner... where Abby's bf, Daus came joined us. Went for a drink again with Hazmi's housemates before we started studying. Yesss, that's right. I went studying with them. What subject, ppl? Statistics... *sigh* I thought I'm over with that. Apparently not. Went to sleep at Izza's place around 3am. (Wwooppss... sorry. But they do study very late at night... I mean, in the morning, whatever.) Thursday was a little bit boring. Woke up late in Izza's bed, lunch, shopping, dinner, study study study. And it's Friday. Met hubby outside the exam hall and went for breakfast.
Now, this is interesting. I was supposed to go back home that day. That's what I planned to do. I didn't have any extra clothes for anything else. But then, hubby just told me that his mum actually invited me to join their family trip to Johor to send Kak Ina to the groom's side. That's Great! but what was I supposed to wear? I didn't have an appropriate attire; baju kurung, shoes, tudung, etc. Grr... he didn't tell me earlier. Lucky me, Izza has some baju kurung. She even offered me her heels. hehe. Thanx. That's very nice of her. I borrowed the baju kurung. But I guess I'd do fine without the heels... hopefully. Surrounded by these tall ppl, I'd still be the shortest, no matter how high my heels are so it doesn't really matter actually. The trip was GGrrRReEEAaatT! Ngehehe. Of course it was. Got to spend time with this family. It's a golden opportunity. I even got to be the camera girl coz his mum forget to bring one. (But I don't think I did a great job with that especially when I got my food. Actually, when I arrived at the groom's house, the hired cameraman was always in my way. So I figured better let him do HIS job and let me eat peacefully. Plus Dira also had a camera. She was better with it anyway.)
We came back on Saturday. Went to help mummy on Sunday at her office, packing and throwing stuff. Her department has moved to a new location so she had to empty her room. Went to PTPTN with hubby on Monday. Continued helping mummy that evening and the next day, until I get my rest on Wednesday. So it's a whole week before I get my rest. Woke up today... Thursday and did some washing. Went to KLCC to celebrate Dina's bday with some KMYS ppl and tmrw I'm going to Melaka again. MMU's hosting an IT fair this weekend. And I have a few things on my list; a laptop for mummy, a router and a hard disk. Yeah, that's shopping that I LIKE! I don't like other kinds of shopping. *sigh* not quite normal yet. Getting there, halfway there, but not quite there yet. Slowly... Will be there soon, or never. depends. What am I blabbering about? Anyway, come and drop by. Maybe there's something for you too. I'm sleepy. Need to take my beauty sleep now. It's going to be a long day tomorrow. And I'm going to start my vacation training next week. So good luck to me eyh? Laters...

Kak Ina & Abg Nadzry's Wedding

15 June 2006: Nikah

Went with mummy & abg, I was excited to be invited to this event. Only family, close relatives and close friends are invited to Akad Nikah ceremony so this really means a Lot to me. =) I couldn't get a good shot from where I was. Don't wanna look too eager so I didn't move any closer. But this is good enough. The bride looked BEAUTIFUL in white. The groom did it with only ONE lafaz... very impressive. Apparently he had been practising that for several days already. :) Seems like hard work pays. The Kadi is the same age as me so technically he's younger than the newly-weds. The ceremony went well. Dinner (delicious N9's masakan kampung) was served soon after.

17 June 2006: The night b4 Kenduri
I came over just to see if there's anything I can help with, apparently none. Had Grilled Salmon Steak for dinner at Restoran As-Salam near their house where suddenly Hazmi's lil sis Abby, her bf Daus, their cousin Dilla, her bf Abg Salleh, and another cousin Nadia joined us. Was a very kecoh dinner which ended with Hazmi paying the bill. haha. We couldn't decide where to sleep that night: Nilai or KL. Mcm dah kawin laa plak kan, umah sendiri ke umah mentua. :p Kak Ina & Nadia tried to persuade me to stay but when Abby & Dilla wanted to sleep at Allson Kelana with their relatives, we went back to KL. Hence, we did not join the family's karaoke night as it was already late.

18 June 2006: Kenduri of the Bride's side & The Bride's 23rd Birthday
The Kenduri was scheduled to start at 12pm. Having arrived @12.10pm, Hazmi & I were a little bit late. Not because we overslept but we had to go to Mambau, KLIA and to Bangi before we could go back to Nilai. So actually we were on time. It's just that I signed up to give bunga telur that day so I had to rush. Had a chance to meet more ppl including Kak Azah (Abg Mi's wife-to-be), Hanisah Salehin (my 1-year TKC junior, apparently daughter to Hazmi's Mum's close friend) and of course, more relatives. The bride & groom arrived at 1pm, accompanied by the groom's family. PDRM's kompang team played the kompang to welcome them. Bersanding right away and the merenjis ceremony was carried out soon after. The bride & groom looked stunning in their pink and green suits. Proceeded outside for Makan Beradat. The Bride cut a pulut kuning "cake" for her birthday, followed by the newly-weds cutting their lovely white wedding cake. Then, it was photography session before the couple went to meet and greet the guests. Their pelamin was beautifully decorated in cream colour with fresh roses of red and pink. The bride's make up artist is Nurul Shukur, Siti Nurhaliza's favourite make up artist. The food was delicious; ayam masak merah, daging rendang etc. In conclusion, the wedding ceremony was a REAL success.

Really enjoyed myself being around his family, meeting ppl & welcoming guests. Thankful that this family treats me really nicely. Stayed around until Hazmi's ready to move after he finished packing & loading his things into the car. MMU's term has started so back to school to you :p hehe. Went back home with a goodie back for mummy and 3 bouquet of roses for me. hahahaha. Special thanx to Hubby, his parents, his 2 sisters Kak Ina & Abby, and his 2 cousins Dilla & Nadia for a Wonderful Memory...

ps: Darkie just gave birth this morning to 2 lovely kittens. Mummy was forced to stay up with Darkie as she refused to let mummy sleep. Halfway through the process, she actually paused to tell us that she was tired by meow-ing and panting with her mouth open while looking at us. What laa Darkie. We know it's very tiring. Don't have to pause JUST to tell us that.

Girls Day Out

Hey everyone! I have a lot to tell but I don't have that much time to write. Not that I was busy going places, I was busy sleeping. Haha. Anyway, Tuesday afternoon, Zanna, Ima & Hudam arrived at my house. Left their bags, waited for me to get ready and then we went to Istana Budaya to buy our tickets for Bangsawan Naga Chini. After that, we went to KLCC, had our lunch at the food court, went our own ways to settle some errands and watched Cars @ TGV. I really wanted to watch this animation because, as the title suggests, it is a story about cars, specifically car racing... and for an additional satisfaction, Michael Schumacher is the guest star. My comment??? THIS IS MY FAVOURITE MOVIE OF ALL TIME... of course on the same level as ANASTASIA. hehe. Can't challenge my obsession of that movie.

We performed our Zohor prayers before we went back home. Hudam went out with her bf, Haris, who would send her to Istana Budaya straight away. That left the 3 of us at home. Waited for maghrib and started dressing up for the play. We were supposed to be there 10 minutes before it started, which is at 8.20pm. But we only got out of the house at 8pm. Haslin, who was already waiting at Istana Budaya, was restless. Hehe. Lucky us, Hazmi came to our rescue and arrived just in time to pick us up. We made it on time... actually 5 minutes early @8.15pm. Thank you, my white knight... my knight in shining armour... hehe =p

Comments? Hmm, I think it was ok. I waited to see the naga (dragon) from the start but it only came out in the last scene... The lighting for the naga's fire was fantastic but I don't quite like the dark setting of the play. Not that it is their fault. The setting was suppose to take place in the swamp and in the woods. Hazmi like that they put in jokes along the way but Hudam said that make it less Bangsawan than it should be. After the play, we hang out in the lobby for awhile and got to see and meet some celebrities. The actors & actresses: Jehan Miskin, Ako Mustafa, Serina, Aziz Satar and some ppl I don't know. Others: Chef Wan, Khai, Rosma, Vaneeda Imran, Nasha Aziz. Took pictures with Nasha Aziz & Vaneeda Imran. Then, we took off.

Lucky us Hazmi drove his Kia instead of Satria that night as we packed all 6 into the car. Had our supper at NZ before Hazmi dropped us off at home. Hudam slept the earliest, Ima offered to sleep on the floor, Zanna, Lin & I slept around 4.30am... talking, catching up, gossiping. Well, in short, Girls Night In. The next day, Hudam went to have lunch with her bf and the rest of us had our lunch near my house. Zanna wanted to buy some tudung so we went to Pasar Besar Gombak. Met Hudam at KLCC, bought a gift for Mash baby and off we went to Kelana Jaya. Just before we arrived that we noticed that we could not all fit into a cab (legally). So Lin called her sister Kak Lina to pick us up but little that she know that there was 5 of us so she brought a friend along. Hence, this time, we had to pack 5 of us at the back of a Proton Aeroback. huii... (Imagine that. Lin dah sgt sakit pinggang & Kesian also Kak Lina, dah laa last minute call, had a drive a very packed car somemore.) But the trip was worth it. Mash's baby, Hazeeq is a real cutie. Poor little baby was hiccup-ing all the time. All of us had our chance to hold the baby but I don't think it was a success for me =p.

Well, I really miss my TKC days, especially my friends. Am really glad we still find some time to hang out, have fun & does crazy stuff together. Hope we can do this again and have others to join us as well. (but if so, we definitely need a bigger place to stay and more transport =p although that would take away some of the fun, menyempit atas katil & dalam kereta) Thanx to Zanna who initiated this outing. Hope you guys enjoy your stay and please come again ;)

06/06/06 Happy Birthday To Me!

THANX TO EVERYONE for the wish. Glad I have such sweet friends like you guys ;) So what happened on my birthday?
Had some early wishes but Nieza, who called me a few minutes b4 12, is officially the first wisher on the 6th. Nadia & Zanna's sms came in during the call. Was on the phone with hubby for the rest of the night.
Woke up with 1 missed call and 7 unread msg(s). Replied all, took a shower, went to The Mall with mummy. [Mummy gave me RM300 the night b4 to buy a watch for my bday present from her & abg when I said I wanted one with a long list of specifications. But before I went to sleep that night, I was staring at my brand-new air-cond and decided I don't want the watch coz I'm so in love with the air-cond. hahaha. So I consider that my bday present from her, gave the money back that morning but mummy don't wanna accept it.] Bought a cream baju kurung/kebaya for Kak Ina's wedding to match Hazmi's baju melayu with that money. Then, went across to Pan Pacific hotel and had lunch buffet with mummy. I ate a LOT (as if that's new) but what made me extra excited was the dessert. I ate 3 types of cakes; cheese, chocolate, strawberry... and lots more. No need for a birthday cake then. hehe. That was definitely sufficient.
Finished eating, mummy asked me to follow her to office but I refused. Had to go to HKL to visit my friend Jana, who was also a birthday girl, admitted due to high fever, suspected dengue. So went shopping for a birthday present and some magazines for her in The Mall first. I didn't know the visiting hours, just tried my luck... arrived there around 3.30pm. Apparently the visiting hours are 12.30pm-2pm and 4.30pm-7.30pm. Waited for nearly an hour before I can see her. Lucky I have the magazine with me. The rained poured down heavily around 5pm so I can't go back early but when Hazmi's on the way to see me, I just had to go. Got to meet Jana's mother before I took off @6.30pm, who gave me a pack of biscuits & drink as my bday present. :) Sweet jer. She said she bought 2 coz she knew I was there. Went back, took a shower, dressed up, waited for Hazmi
Hazmi arrived, still had to wait for me to finish dressing up :p [It's MY birthday... suke hati laa nak lambat kan?] Went to Eden Village for my birthday dinner with him. And it's a looonnggg list of order.
  • Fresh Oyster on ice with lemon juice for us
  • Shrimp and mango with thousand island for us
  • Soup of the day for him
  • Bread and butter for him
  • Garlic bread for us
  • Shark fin & crab soup for me
  • Butterfried Garlic Big Prawn "mermaid style" for me
  • Sirloin Steak for him
  • Sprite for me
  • Iced lemon tea for him

Was that all, honey? I thought our table was full? And we were seated at a table for four. haha. But our stomach were full, alright. I couldn't even finish my food [coz the restaurant was closing already] After that, we went for a drink, somewhere near KL Tower (don't even know the name of the place). Seated by the pool (apparently for scuba training), we had a looong romantic talk. Ngehehe. Trust my bf for a romantic setting ;) I had a cup of cappucino and he had a cup of tea there. After that, we went home. Watched Nanny McPhee from my laptop together before we bid our goodbyes for the night. Waited hubby to reach home and talked to him on the phone till we both fell asleep. All in all, it's a wonderful day.

I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone again for all your wishes, which came in through all means of communications. Still coming in actually. Phone calls, sms, friendster's testimonials, msn msgr, yahoo msgr, blog comments, blog entry from hanijoe (sgt2 sweet), hallmark e-card from Dina and multiply from K Own. I can't thank you enough and can't name u all one by one but u know who u are. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! =) Alright, gtg now. Have to get ready for a celebration at Mak's house. Jaa ;)

Birthday Outing

Last friday was Nadia's birthday. I wanted to go out and celebrate with all our primary school friends so tried contacting a few of them for a dinner gathering. Some really couldn't make it, some were delighted to come but in the end, everyone had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances. That afternoon, when Nadia arrived at my house, I took her to KLCC first. Wanted to buy her something for her bday. Linda, who couldn't join us for dinner, suddenly said she's at the putra station and can't go back home so decided to come with us at the very last minute. When we arrived there, we rushed to the food court coz everyone was very hungry... me especially. Food is my priority now :p
Anyway, after lunch, we went bday present hunting. Initially for Nadia alone, then Linda asked what I want, then I asked what she wants. So we decided to spend RM10 each on the other 2. We went bday present hunting the whole afternoon. After a few hours of walking, searching & deciding, Linda bought an earrings. To finish the RM20, she bought a Cleo magazine. Nadia bought herself a bracelet and both me & Linda looked at her curiously. WE were supposed to pay that for her... why did she pay that herself. Apparently, she buys herself a birthday present every year... she will search for something else from us. Hmm, ok but good idea. I want to buy myself presents too. As for my present from them, at first, I wanted a long purse to fit into my new handbag from Hazmi. That is, if I can't find something else that interests me. But when we stopped at Memory Lane, I saw a lovely yellow butterfly wind-chime and I immediately screamed, "I want this!!!". Hehe. Nadia quickly grabbed that thing and pay for it. I got another small blue-dolphine windchime with the balance. So that leaves Nadia. We went back upstairs to Teddy Tales and bought Nadia a purse. I also bought myself the long purse I wanted, that's my bday present for me. hehe.
After that, we bid Linda goodbye coz she had to go home. Nadia & I stayed a little longer. Nadia wanted to search for something with her RM2 balance. We performed our Asar prayers, ate Auntie Anne's bread coz I was hungry again, bought myself another pack of bun from Roti Boy (pre period hunger), performed our maghrib prayers and on the way back, stopped at Chamelon. Nadia bought a chopstick and hair clips with the balance. I was searching for a looong necklace that would be visible even when I'm wearing tudung... couldn't find it at all the whole afternoon But there it was... so another bday present for myself. Haha. Over!
I had a blast time with them that day. Really! I had FUN shopping. That's something not quite normal for me. Thanx for the great time together, ol' pals. =)

I'm back home!

Hey ppl. I'm home... back in Malaysia. It has been a week now. And I'm loving it (although i know Malaysia is super hot, i don't care. I AM HOME) So what happened to the surprise I planned for mummy? Well, I told her I'll be arriving on Thursday but I actually arrived on Tuesday. Asked her to wait for a mail-delivery of something I ordered online between 4-6pm. My lovely hubby picked me up and we stopped at his Petronas station for awhile. I didn't lose a second and quickly grabbed one nasi lemak & iced Milo that I've been craving for daysss since Aida mentioned it. Met Kak Ina, Kak Madiha, Dilla and the whole Petronas KLIA 1 crew while I was eating. Had to go and have breakfast with Hazmi's parents at Nilai Spring, couldn't eat fast enough so hubby had to finish the food for me. We quickly rushed there and had breakfast with them, another plate of nasi goreng for me. hehe. Done eating, we went back to Hazmi's place, where I met his younger siblings, Abby & Apis. Funny that all of them know I'm planning a surprise for mummy so mummy didn't know that I was back but there I was... meeting the whole family. I would say that was a surprise for me! We went to the bank after that and bumped into Hazmi's parents there. Then, it is time for Hazmi to send me back home.
I wanted to buy mummy a bouquet of flowers so we went searching in Bangi but couldn't find any so we tried The Mines. Pusing punye pusing, we still failed to find one. Since we are already late, we just had to rush back home. Mummy informed me that the delivery man hasn't arrived yet and she need to go out soon. I was restless in the car coz I wanted her to be home when I arrived. Dah laa takde bunge kan. When we arrived in the area, it was around 6.05pm and mummy was waiting by the roadside for someone. She was wondering why was Hazmi there when she saw Hazmi's car. When hubby stopped in front of her, I opened the door and shouted "Surprise!!!" There was a "Jejak Kasih" moment for awhile. Mummy said she had to see someone for just a few minutes and will join us shortly so Hazmi & I brought my bags up and met abang who was at home, still waiting for the delivery man. We had dinner together that night before Hazmi went back home and I went to sleep immediately. Well, the surprise didn't go as planned but it was still a special one. Happy birthday, mummy~ =)

2 more days to go home & Bday Wish List

My last 3 papers (for 2 subjects; POF & OR) were really bad. I REALLY hope to at least get a second for POF and at least a 3rd (a mere pass) for OR. Surprisingly, the paper I thought was going to help my grades turned out to be the worst, which is the OR. *sigh* I've tried so hard but it is still not enough. Will have to work not only harder next year, but also better or more effectively. I guess that closes the door of opportunity to work here after graduation. (Maybe I can still try but the chances are super slim.) Just not my luck then. But I would say I am quite satisfied with my improvement (in attitude towards studying). I know I could improve M0R3 but this is all I could do as a change from last year. Yes, Will still try harder next year.
I am of course sad that I did not do very well (as I hope I would) in this exam. But I am more sad to think that I might have shattered Hazmi's dream and his hope of me. "I am really really sorry, honey." I feel more guilty to him than to myself. But I don't know now what the results will turn out to be. I hope everything is good enough. All I can do now is to pray and just leave it to God. I have no control over it anymore. For now, "I just can't wait to get back home." Quoted from Michael Buble's 'Home'. Went shopping yesterday and today & I'm really tired at the moment. But while window-shopping-ing just now, I came across things I want but don't really need. Ngehehe. In case someone is sweet enough to gimme a bday present but don't have any idea what to buy, this is a short list. (Not that I'm expecting them. Ingat pun dah sweet. Card je pun dah sgt sweet. Tak ingat pun takpe kot. Coz I, myself, sometimes couldn't get to wish everyone especially during the peak busy time.) But since each time I go bday present hunting, I always have problems on deciding what to buy, Most of the time wishing I have telepathy powers and secretly figure out what they want, I always thought it would be easier if there is a list I could chose from. (In the end, I always end up buying things I like instead of things the person might like. Sorry guys. I don't have a clue) :
  • Sudoku machine (sort-of the play-as-you-go thingy) - Hanijoe bought this for me already =). Thanxxx
  • A magic 8 ball
  • A lava lamp
  • An extended wind-chime... like the long ones in Covent Garden
  • Or just a suncatcher
  • The silky-like bead-filled-pillow
  • Or if you dun like all this ideas, a book, chic lit, maybe. not heavy reading unless fantasy or sci-fi
  • Jewelleries? Hmm, I like white gold at the moment so silver bracelet or necklace.

Hahaha, cam beria plak list. Mahal plak tu kan. But no worries. I am actually fulfilling my own wish by doing this. A wish list so that ppl know what's on my mind. But of course you can still buy anything else if you want or not buy at all. I don't mind... Time to sleep. Good night!

2 down, 3 more to go

3 more papers and I'll be freeeeee... Urgh, I can't take this anymore. It's like sucking the life out of me. haha. just kidding. Well, I AM sick of studying and I feel like I've been doing this forever. And I'm not even half as nerd as my housemates. (hmm...) But I've put in MY best effort so everything is up to Him now. If God's willing I manage to achieve an average of 2:1 or above, of course I thank God for everything, Hazmi for constantly pushing me and supporting me, Mummy for always being there for me, but I would like to give the credit to my nerdy housemates, who helped me achieve my new-academic-year resolution of being a nerd. By creating the nerd-mode aura in the house, like it or not, I'll have to join them. And sometimes, I don't have the mood to study anymore but all I can only hear is silence so I know they are studying (or I THINK they are studying... hehe). Hence, I hafta study too. (right...) And they are always there for me whenever I have problems, academically or mentally. (I am not that "mental" this year and Hazmi has increased his patience capacity so I think I'm quite ok) So... Dina, Aida & Mimi... Thank you, guys. We'll continue this nerdy mode next year, eyh? haha. Mcm laa dah habis exam kan. But if I only manage to get an average of 2:2 or below (I pray not), then it is just not my luck. Or should I say I face a decreasing returns to scale of output. An increase in input of 150% only increases output of 100%. Owh wait, no increase in output...? Urghh, whatever.
Anyway, I sooooo wanna eat malaysian food right now. I want good foooooddd. One more week. One more week and I'll be back home. One more week and I'll be in food haven. ngahaha. (which then follows, I'll put on weight, dramatically) But who cares? ;) (Owh, I care...) Well, whatever... 3 more papers to go, peeps...

Nickelback - Far Away

Artist : Nickelback
Song : Far Away

This time, This place
Misused, Mistakes
Too long, Too late
Who was I to make you wait

Just one chance
Just one breath
Just in case there's just one left
'Cause you know, you know, you know

[CHORUS]
That I love you
I have loved you all along
And I miss you
Been far away for far too long
I keep dreaming

You'll be with me and you'll never go
Stop breathing if I don't see you anymore

On my knees, I'll ask
Last chance for one last dance
'Cause with you, I'd withstand
All of hell to hold your hand
I'd give it all, I'd give for us
Give anything but I won't give up
'Cause you know, you know, you know

[CHORUS]

So far away
Been far away for far too long
So far away
Been far away for far too long
But you know, you know, you know

I wanted
I wanted you to stay
'Cause I needed
I need to hear you say

That I love you
I have loved you all along
And I forgive you

For being away for far too long
So keep breathing
'Cause I'm not leaving you anymore
Believe it
Hold on to me and, never let me go
Keep breathing
'Cause I'm not leaving you anymore
Believe it
Hold on to me and, never let me go
Hold on to me and, never let me go
Hold on to me and, never let me go

When I finish my studies here, I'll dedicate this song to hubby and mean every single word. The last part is not suitable yet coz I still have one more year to go after this 2nd year exam. So... for the time being, I have to struggle to complete my degree first.
Haven't been studying this hard since SPM. Hope the hard work pays. Sometimes I think I am on track, but when I take a look at something, it'll be like "shoot, there's a LOT more I haven't read". It's a loop thing... keeps going on and on like that. Like the feeling of 'urgh-exam-is-very-near-feeling' and 'Yea!-I'm-going-back-this-month'. The good thing about this loop feeling is that it's keeping me in balance and sane.

Mind your words, Mind your thoughts

Last week, when my housemates were discussing a few general issues during dinner time, I wanted to make a comment but I managed to stop myself just in time. Not that it would be insulting or wrong, I just HAD to stop myself from making such a comment. What kinda of comments? Hmm, comments like "I don't understand why ppl do this..." or "I don't have that problem..." etc. I really had to stop myself because, for God knows why, sometimes when I made that kinda comments (most of the time actually), I would later find myself in that situation. Some... I would say I treasure the experience, Some... I wish I never had to go through them. But on second thought, each experience taught me something, at least one lesson, I have to be thankful with my currently-wonderful-life or be more understanding of what other ppl are going through (since I've been put in their shoes). For example, I did post an entry about my sleeping difficulty, when just that evening I commented I don't have difficulty in falling asleep. That is just one very simple example. There are a few very-complicated cases, which I believe have something to do with my comments. But I would say, not all experiences are bad... I once made a really-not-so-good comment and it had landed me "somewhere" I am really2 happy to be in. Hehe. History digging...
Before I had a bf, I wished my bf would be someone who lives in KL so I could easily go out with him anytime I want. Yeah, I hang out a lot, in KL, mind you, not in London, at least used to. So when I got to know Hazmi from a friend, I was told that he seldom went out since he worked a lot. (He still does ;) ) My stupid mind and mouth suddenly made a very unthoughful comment. "Kesiannye sape jadik gf die... susah nak kluar" which means, pity anyone who is to be his gf coz it'd be difficult to go out with him. Well, I know it is a VERY good thing to be working and NOT wasting time like me, but I supposedly wanted someone who I could hang out with. Well, childish huh? And look where I am now. I AM his gf, proud to be, and I do NOT need anyone's pity coz it is no surprise that I am perfectly happy to be with him at the moment. His working commitment actually works to my advantage for when I am here, he will not be bored waiting for me to come back home just for the sake of having someone to go out with coz he has to work instead. What I can say is that, Allah knows best (as K Own always said to me) and He would give you, not what you want, but what you need... If being with him now is a result of me making that stupid comment, I would say I will never regret making one but then again, not all experiences are as wonderful as this one. So it is still important that I watch my words and even my thoughts.~
Well, I should be studying instead of writing this right now but I am so hungry and currently waiting for Mimi to finish her 1 O'Clock class to go to chicken cottage with housemates for lunch to satisfy our sudden cravings. (That's a very long sentence :p) Alright then, gtg. Till then...

First baby of our batch - Froggies9701

Congratulations to Mash & Hubby for their new born baby, Mohd Hazeeq Mohd Azlan. Mash safely gave birth to this cute baby at 3.17pm, 18th April 2004. Woww, time flies. I still remember when we were school kids running around the block and jumping up and down carefreely. Now, one of us is officially a mother. Err, good luck going through motherhood but I'm sure you will do great. In 5 years time, I might need some tips though ;) InsyaAllah...
I love this pic coz it seems like the baby is trying to kiss you =)

3 Doors Down - Landing In London

Was searching for a suitable song for my friendster profile, a song that would reflect me better, what I'm going through or thinking or feeling at the moment. Then I found this song and since I think it suits me real well, I decided to put it on my blog too. I miss hubby like crazy and sometimes it makes me think why did I choose to come here. But there is no point looking back now and I don't regret on my decisions. I just have to hang in here and start studying real hard. Well baby, there's no word to express how much I'm missing you at the moment but this song is for you.

Alton Towers at last

After hundreds of times postponing the trip, we made it to Alton Towers at last. Thursday morning, we (Yat, Lion, Arfah & I) boarded the virgin train to Stoke-On-Trent for a
whole day fun in Alton Towers. We were supposed to arrive in Alton Towers at 10.40am but due to the bus delay, we arrived quite some time after 11. Well, to maximize our now-even-shorter time, we didn't waste any time and headed straight away for our 1st ride: the congo river rapids. This ride is classified as one of the the absolutely splashing rides and we did get wet a little. Not much. But since it was a cold day (and I'm saying this as the person who wore the thickest jacket) we decided not to go on any more absolutely splashing rides. So we went "hunting" for the "adrenalin-busters" rides only. The 2nd ride: Runaway Mine Train was quite ok but the next ride one was really interesting. It's the Nemesis. The concept is kinda like any other roller coster except that the seats are not enclosed... i mean, there's no platform to put your feet on... so u could see what's under you. There was even a lake of red water as u could see in the picture. This "waterfall" leads to the very big-red-lake. U definitely do not want your shoes to fall into that or else u'll get a free dye and never get it back. :p Here's a picture of Nemesis for your viewing. hehe.
Then, we went onto Air, a Superman-ride-like roller coaster, before we proceded to Ug Land. In Ug Land, we queued for Rita, the Queen of Speed. At the board, it said the waiting time was 40 minutes. But we waited waaaayyyy wayyyyy longer than that. Why? While we were queueing, there was a technical problem with this "Miss Rita". Since we had been queueing for more than half an hour already, might as well continue waiting. Thanx to the technical team, the problem was fixed at last so the queue continued moving. When we were in the queue, I kept asking why Rita gets the 1st place in the rides-rank. It definitely looks like a normal roller coaster to me. Maybe I hadn't been on it yet to judge it so Lion suggested I should try re-evaluate it after we've been on the ride. When we were all buckled up, Yat and I were wondering where should we hold on to. The green light suddenly flashed on and swwooooshh, we went. Omigod. We were really taken off-guard. 100km/s in 2 seconds... that was amazing man. And the 'control-tower' referred to us, the passengers, as drivers. haha. Coollll, so that's what F1 drivers feel when driving. That was really2 cooll and Rita does deserve the 1st place after all ;) After that, we went on Corkscrew, which we queued for less than 10 minutes, unlike the more than an hour queue (plus repairing waiting time) for Rita. By then, I was really hungry and cold and tired. But we had to hold on 1st for we cannot eat b4 our most-awaited ride, the Oblivion. Honestly, I was a bit afraid looking at it from below. Before we came here, I made a promise to Yat to seat in the front row. When Yat almost backed out from that promise, I wanted to backed out too. But then Arfah convinced us to take the front row again and we agreed. However, it is just not our luck to seat in the front row coz when we queued, we were placed in the 2nd row. Which I think doesn't make that much difference when I was on the ride coz I was more afraid to fall than thinking whether i'm in the front seat or not. But the ride went so fast, that I was like... "what? that's it? Laa, it was alrite then." WE SURVIVED OBLIVION. Haha. We had our long-overdue lunch right after that. Found a fish-and-chips shop around and just sat there enjoying the food and the warm atmosphere. We could try to go on 1 last ride before they're all closed but we were all too tired to make any attempt. It was a really fun though... Thanx a lot, u guys. Loving the adrenalin rush moments. =D

Hubby paid his due

Woww, talked to hubby for more than 2 hours just now. Kesian, after all he's still not well. Itchy nose, flu, non-stop sneezing. Wish I could be by your side and take care of u =( On top of that, he just drove all the way to KL and all the way back. (hmm, this sentence sounds familiar) I wonder whether he did mean to talk to me that long or he did that after reading my last entry. Err, if it is the latter, sorry honey. I do Not want to trouble u. But whatever the reason was, I'm really2 touched. Hubby tries to find time to spend with me although we are miles apart. Aww, I really miss u, sweetheart. Huwaa, CaN't wait to go back... *HuGz*

What have I done so far?

Evaluation time... One and a half weeks of easter break is gone now. What have I done so far??? Lets see... hmm studying wise not much. Freecell games, plenty... Sudoku games, A LOT. What the hell, Farahaida? You can't do this. Don't you remember what happened last year? That canNOT happen again. Study! Study! Study! Pleaseeee.....
Anyway, Yesterday, I experienced sleeping difficulties. Yeah, just difficulty, that is... I can't sleep. Tried to but couldn't. Woke up kinda late the day before so that might be the problem. Told mummy I DO NOT have difficulty falling asleep, that's a BIG mistake. (NEVER say something like that coz it'll happen straight away) Wanted to talk to hubby on the phone for hours but he's not well and is having mid-term exam at the moment so couldn't disturb him. But I think the main problem was... my stomach won't stop making noise and it was VERY2 loud... n very2 disturbing. In the end, I managed to sleep at 11am and asked hubby to wake me up at 1pm but he Forgot. So I slept until 6.15pm. hmmpph, there goes one day (and my Zohor prayers). So last night, I drank hot choc and ate banana-with-choc-sauce-and-whipped-cream before I went to bed. (I know it's fattening but hopefully my stomach stop growling) Called Nadia and since she's working, she can't use her high-pitched voice. That didn't stop her from talking a lot though so after awhile, I felt kinda sleepy. Put on thick track bottom and hid under the duvet to ensure no air crept into my body. Key thing, called hubby... he dodoi me to sleep... Sempat manje2 skejap =p and mengadu about my growling stomach. Hubby said, "gi tido... abaikan je perut tu." LUCKY ME! I managed to sleep again at 3am last night and woke up around 10 am. Haha. That's a LOT of sleep. I know but I need to fix that owl-sleep-pattern before it gets out of control. Hopefully won't have any problem sleeping tonight.

Today's a happy day =) for 68 BFR

Woke up quite early today. And the first thing I did was to check my email. Lucky me, there is a good news attached to my newly received email. Drum roll please... I got a placement to do internship with PwC. Lalala. U have no idea how happy I am. Hehe. Not bcoz I actually have to spend my 2 holiday-months working but I got a placement despite my ugly 1st year result. (yes, I am working hard now for my 2nd year exam. cannot afford to repeat that horrible experience again) Then, Aida got hers too. And I know dina already got hers a few weeks ago. So the 3 of us might be working at the same place this Summer. As for Mimi, she will be doing her internship with Wong & Partners but her good news for today is... she bought her ticket back home. Yeay!!! So all in all, today is a happy day =) Heylo, Spring!!!
