Nickelback - Far Away

Artist : Nickelback
Song : Far Away

This time, This place
Misused, Mistakes
Too long, Too late
Who was I to make you wait

Just one chance
Just one breath
Just in case there's just one left
'Cause you know, you know, you know

[CHORUS]
That I love you
I have loved you all along
And I miss you
Been far away for far too long
I keep dreaming

You'll be with me and you'll never go
Stop breathing if I don't see you anymore

On my knees, I'll ask
Last chance for one last dance
'Cause with you, I'd withstand
All of hell to hold your hand
I'd give it all, I'd give for us
Give anything but I won't give up
'Cause you know, you know, you know

[CHORUS]

So far away
Been far away for far too long
So far away
Been far away for far too long
But you know, you know, you know

I wanted
I wanted you to stay
'Cause I needed
I need to hear you say

That I love you
I have loved you all along
And I forgive you

For being away for far too long
So keep breathing
'Cause I'm not leaving you anymore
Believe it
Hold on to me and, never let me go
Keep breathing
'Cause I'm not leaving you anymore
Believe it
Hold on to me and, never let me go
Hold on to me and, never let me go
Hold on to me and, never let me go

When I finish my studies here, I'll dedicate this song to hubby and mean every single word. The last part is not suitable yet coz I still have one more year to go after this 2nd year exam. So... for the time being, I have to struggle to complete my degree first.
Haven't been studying this hard since SPM. Hope the hard work pays. Sometimes I think I am on track, but when I take a look at something, it'll be like "shoot, there's a LOT more I haven't read". It's a loop thing... keeps going on and on like that. Like the feeling of 'urgh-exam-is-very-near-feeling' and 'Yea!-I'm-going-back-this-month'. The good thing about this loop feeling is that it's keeping me in balance and sane.

Mind your words, Mind your thoughts

Last week, when my housemates were discussing a few general issues during dinner time, I wanted to make a comment but I managed to stop myself just in time. Not that it would be insulting or wrong, I just HAD to stop myself from making such a comment. What kinda of comments? Hmm, comments like "I don't understand why ppl do this..." or "I don't have that problem..." etc. I really had to stop myself because, for God knows why, sometimes when I made that kinda comments (most of the time actually), I would later find myself in that situation. Some... I would say I treasure the experience, Some... I wish I never had to go through them. But on second thought, each experience taught me something, at least one lesson, I have to be thankful with my currently-wonderful-life or be more understanding of what other ppl are going through (since I've been put in their shoes). For example, I did post an entry about my sleeping difficulty, when just that evening I commented I don't have difficulty in falling asleep. That is just one very simple example. There are a few very-complicated cases, which I believe have something to do with my comments. But I would say, not all experiences are bad... I once made a really-not-so-good comment and it had landed me "somewhere" I am really2 happy to be in. Hehe. History digging...
Before I had a bf, I wished my bf would be someone who lives in KL so I could easily go out with him anytime I want. Yeah, I hang out a lot, in KL, mind you, not in London, at least used to. So when I got to know Hazmi from a friend, I was told that he seldom went out since he worked a lot. (He still does ;) ) My stupid mind and mouth suddenly made a very unthoughful comment. "Kesiannye sape jadik gf die... susah nak kluar" which means, pity anyone who is to be his gf coz it'd be difficult to go out with him. Well, I know it is a VERY good thing to be working and NOT wasting time like me, but I supposedly wanted someone who I could hang out with. Well, childish huh? And look where I am now. I AM his gf, proud to be, and I do NOT need anyone's pity coz it is no surprise that I am perfectly happy to be with him at the moment. His working commitment actually works to my advantage for when I am here, he will not be bored waiting for me to come back home just for the sake of having someone to go out with coz he has to work instead. What I can say is that, Allah knows best (as K Own always said to me) and He would give you, not what you want, but what you need... If being with him now is a result of me making that stupid comment, I would say I will never regret making one but then again, not all experiences are as wonderful as this one. So it is still important that I watch my words and even my thoughts.~
Well, I should be studying instead of writing this right now but I am so hungry and currently waiting for Mimi to finish her 1 O'Clock class to go to chicken cottage with housemates for lunch to satisfy our sudden cravings. (That's a very long sentence :p) Alright then, gtg. Till then...

First baby of our batch - Froggies9701

Congratulations to Mash & Hubby for their new born baby, Mohd Hazeeq Mohd Azlan. Mash safely gave birth to this cute baby at 3.17pm, 18th April 2004. Woww, time flies. I still remember when we were school kids running around the block and jumping up and down carefreely. Now, one of us is officially a mother. Err, good luck going through motherhood but I'm sure you will do great. In 5 years time, I might need some tips though ;) InsyaAllah...
I love this pic coz it seems like the baby is trying to kiss you =)

3 Doors Down - Landing In London

Was searching for a suitable song for my friendster profile, a song that would reflect me better, what I'm going through or thinking or feeling at the moment. Then I found this song and since I think it suits me real well, I decided to put it on my blog too. I miss hubby like crazy and sometimes it makes me think why did I choose to come here. But there is no point looking back now and I don't regret on my decisions. I just have to hang in here and start studying real hard. Well baby, there's no word to express how much I'm missing you at the moment but this song is for you.

Alton Towers at last

After hundreds of times postponing the trip, we made it to Alton Towers at last. Thursday morning, we (Yat, Lion, Arfah & I) boarded the virgin train to Stoke-On-Trent for a
whole day fun in Alton Towers. We were supposed to arrive in Alton Towers at 10.40am but due to the bus delay, we arrived quite some time after 11. Well, to maximize our now-even-shorter time, we didn't waste any time and headed straight away for our 1st ride: the congo river rapids. This ride is classified as one of the the absolutely splashing rides and we did get wet a little. Not much. But since it was a cold day (and I'm saying this as the person who wore the thickest jacket) we decided not to go on any more absolutely splashing rides. So we went "hunting" for the "adrenalin-busters" rides only. The 2nd ride: Runaway Mine Train was quite ok but the next ride one was really interesting. It's the Nemesis. The concept is kinda like any other roller coster except that the seats are not enclosed... i mean, there's no platform to put your feet on... so u could see what's under you. There was even a lake of red water as u could see in the picture. This "waterfall" leads to the very big-red-lake. U definitely do not want your shoes to fall into that or else u'll get a free dye and never get it back. :p Here's a picture of Nemesis for your viewing. hehe.
Then, we went onto Air, a Superman-ride-like roller coaster, before we proceded to Ug Land. In Ug Land, we queued for Rita, the Queen of Speed. At the board, it said the waiting time was 40 minutes. But we waited waaaayyyy wayyyyy longer than that. Why? While we were queueing, there was a technical problem with this "Miss Rita". Since we had been queueing for more than half an hour already, might as well continue waiting. Thanx to the technical team, the problem was fixed at last so the queue continued moving. When we were in the queue, I kept asking why Rita gets the 1st place in the rides-rank. It definitely looks like a normal roller coaster to me. Maybe I hadn't been on it yet to judge it so Lion suggested I should try re-evaluate it after we've been on the ride. When we were all buckled up, Yat and I were wondering where should we hold on to. The green light suddenly flashed on and swwooooshh, we went. Omigod. We were really taken off-guard. 100km/s in 2 seconds... that was amazing man. And the 'control-tower' referred to us, the passengers, as drivers. haha. Coollll, so that's what F1 drivers feel when driving. That was really2 cooll and Rita does deserve the 1st place after all ;) After that, we went on Corkscrew, which we queued for less than 10 minutes, unlike the more than an hour queue (plus repairing waiting time) for Rita. By then, I was really hungry and cold and tired. But we had to hold on 1st for we cannot eat b4 our most-awaited ride, the Oblivion. Honestly, I was a bit afraid looking at it from below. Before we came here, I made a promise to Yat to seat in the front row. When Yat almost backed out from that promise, I wanted to backed out too. But then Arfah convinced us to take the front row again and we agreed. However, it is just not our luck to seat in the front row coz when we queued, we were placed in the 2nd row. Which I think doesn't make that much difference when I was on the ride coz I was more afraid to fall than thinking whether i'm in the front seat or not. But the ride went so fast, that I was like... "what? that's it? Laa, it was alrite then." WE SURVIVED OBLIVION. Haha. We had our long-overdue lunch right after that. Found a fish-and-chips shop around and just sat there enjoying the food and the warm atmosphere. We could try to go on 1 last ride before they're all closed but we were all too tired to make any attempt. It was a really fun though... Thanx a lot, u guys. Loving the adrenalin rush moments. =D

Hubby paid his due

Woww, talked to hubby for more than 2 hours just now. Kesian, after all he's still not well. Itchy nose, flu, non-stop sneezing. Wish I could be by your side and take care of u =( On top of that, he just drove all the way to KL and all the way back. (hmm, this sentence sounds familiar) I wonder whether he did mean to talk to me that long or he did that after reading my last entry. Err, if it is the latter, sorry honey. I do Not want to trouble u. But whatever the reason was, I'm really2 touched. Hubby tries to find time to spend with me although we are miles apart. Aww, I really miss u, sweetheart. Huwaa, CaN't wait to go back... *HuGz*

What have I done so far?

Evaluation time... One and a half weeks of easter break is gone now. What have I done so far??? Lets see... hmm studying wise not much. Freecell games, plenty... Sudoku games, A LOT. What the hell, Farahaida? You can't do this. Don't you remember what happened last year? That canNOT happen again. Study! Study! Study! Pleaseeee.....
Anyway, Yesterday, I experienced sleeping difficulties. Yeah, just difficulty, that is... I can't sleep. Tried to but couldn't. Woke up kinda late the day before so that might be the problem. Told mummy I DO NOT have difficulty falling asleep, that's a BIG mistake. (NEVER say something like that coz it'll happen straight away) Wanted to talk to hubby on the phone for hours but he's not well and is having mid-term exam at the moment so couldn't disturb him. But I think the main problem was... my stomach won't stop making noise and it was VERY2 loud... n very2 disturbing. In the end, I managed to sleep at 11am and asked hubby to wake me up at 1pm but he Forgot. So I slept until 6.15pm. hmmpph, there goes one day (and my Zohor prayers). So last night, I drank hot choc and ate banana-with-choc-sauce-and-whipped-cream before I went to bed. (I know it's fattening but hopefully my stomach stop growling) Called Nadia and since she's working, she can't use her high-pitched voice. That didn't stop her from talking a lot though so after awhile, I felt kinda sleepy. Put on thick track bottom and hid under the duvet to ensure no air crept into my body. Key thing, called hubby... he dodoi me to sleep... Sempat manje2 skejap =p and mengadu about my growling stomach. Hubby said, "gi tido... abaikan je perut tu." LUCKY ME! I managed to sleep again at 3am last night and woke up around 10 am. Haha. That's a LOT of sleep. I know but I need to fix that owl-sleep-pattern before it gets out of control. Hopefully won't have any problem sleeping tonight.

Today's a happy day =) for 68 BFR

Woke up quite early today. And the first thing I did was to check my email. Lucky me, there is a good news attached to my newly received email. Drum roll please... I got a placement to do internship with PwC. Lalala. U have no idea how happy I am. Hehe. Not bcoz I actually have to spend my 2 holiday-months working but I got a placement despite my ugly 1st year result. (yes, I am working hard now for my 2nd year exam. cannot afford to repeat that horrible experience again) Then, Aida got hers too. And I know dina already got hers a few weeks ago. So the 3 of us might be working at the same place this Summer. As for Mimi, she will be doing her internship with Wong & Partners but her good news for today is... she bought her ticket back home. Yeay!!! So all in all, today is a happy day =) Heylo, Spring!!!

Hubby's officially a wizard

Yesterday morning, i was quite late for my subuh prayer so i had to rush to pray 1st b4 calling hubby. While getting prepared to pray, i was thinking whether i should call hubby b4 i go back to sleep or just call him when i wake up later. And out of a sudden, he miss-called me. Hmm...
As if that is not enough, when i went back to sleep, i had like thousands of dreams; trapped in a house, met hubby and his dad, owned a kerete-kuda, parked it in front of someone's gate, rode a bicycle to PD and met mummy there, her friend invited me to join her team but i didn't bring a swimming suit, someone's publishing a page and need a picture of me and hubby, wanted to give her one then decided to ask hubby first, so was trying to look for hubby... And out of a sudden, he actually miss-called me again. HEY YOU!!! You are officially a wizard. Not only u know i was thinking of you in my wake, U could sense i'm looking for you even in my dreams. Grr... U stole my powers. I'm the one who is a witch.

Hubby can read my mind?

Thursday evening, I wished hubby good night and went down to have dinner with my housemates. B4 that, he still insisted that I call him right after dinner. So when I finished eating, I checked hubby's ym window. No new messages received while I was away so I assumed he's already sleeping. Just when I was trying to call him, I received a message from him, saying 'hold on, give him 15 minutes'. He's not asleep yet and did he know I was calling? I checked my phone and the call had not been connected yet. Hmm, so it's just a coincidence. But what an accurate timing. He said, he didn't know I was already in front of my laptop and was surprised when I replied. But b4 he went to the toilet, he just felt a strong urge to tell me he's going to be away for awhile, so that I know he's not deeply asleep. It turned out, I'd finished eating and WAS already calling him. Lalala, simple coincidence. Magical moment.
On Friday morning, I was just saying to Aida, currently, I don't have any favourite song. Kinda boring when I can't just play one song to satisfy my song-craze-moments. Apart from that, I wanna receive an email from him out of nowhere though I know there is no reason for me to get any since I talk to him everyday. So when I was chatting with him that evening, I was surprised to know that I just received a song from him (which is now my favourite song) in an email. Ngaa, can hubby really read my mind? Is there a telepathy connection between us? Or there is such thing as soulcall after all? Well, sometimes it's spooky but most of the time, it IS sweet. So why bother. Hehe

Changing Qopuy to Hazmi

Some ppl may have heard it. I'm trying to change from addressing hubby as Qopuy to Hazmi. (Not an easy task, it seems) Why? Hmm, I find it weird when our families met, mummy addressed him as Qopuy in front of his parents. I don't find it weird coz mummy said it, I find it weird when we use it in front of his parents. Maybe it won't be weird anymore after some time, maybe they'll get used to it. But I don't want that. To me, it's not appropriate. Even in my extended family, everyone calls him Qopuy. From Mak, To Abah, Nyah, Bang Own, Kak Yong and the kids. It seems like a small matter now but in the long run, I don't want my hubby to be known as Qopuy to my relatives, especially to my nephews and nieces. It is just not appropriate in families. It's ok among friends but in order to change it in my family, I have to start first. (Actually mummy did) So guys, sorry to confuse u all but I'm in the process of changing that name. Lets get used to the new name, Hazmi! =)

Paintball report

Yesterday, 18th February 2006, Yat, Aida and I went paintballing under UMNO London. I knew my arm was not completely healed yet but I didn't think paintballing would make it worse. (No, it didn't although I did come back with extra bruises) We took a bus from MSD and our journey to Surrey took about an hour. I was kinda sleepy that morning and wanted to take a nap on the way there but couldn't since we got very excited and didn't stop talking at all.
Once we reached there, I started to feel scared. That time, I had no idea why I wanted to go paintballing in the 1st place. Every0ne else looked very into it. We were given an overall, a goggle (the helmet thing) and a hooper (the bullet feeder) Haha, we looked like pilots in the picture though, or mechanics. =p
We played 5 games in total, 10 rounds that is (Change side after 1 round). During the 1st game, we were kinda blurr...and cowards. Refused to get out of the hut and just shooting and got shot inside there. Yat "got killed" dramatically in the 2nd round when a guy ran past the hut and managed to shoot her while running when there was only both of us left in the hut. I was like "Oh, NOOO! Yat!!! Don't leave me alone. I'm scared" haha. Useless...
The 1st game, each team were given 2 huts, and the mission is to conquer the other team's base. 2nd mission is to get into a "castle", go upstairs and throw a bomb in the opponent's side. In the next mission, one team has to choose a president and they have to protect the president while bringing him/her to the other side without getting shot, which makes the mission of the other team is to shoot the president. 4th mission: We have to grab a flag in the middle of the battle field and bring it to the opponent's base again. Our last fight was to shoot everyone from the opponent's team.
We had lunch (nasi lemak) after 2 games and continued playing until about 3 something. We boarded the bus and started our journey back to MSD at 4pm. Our team (Yellow team) won only 2 out of 10 rounds. Quite a disadvantage to have all 3 of us in a team. Sorry guys. Hehe. But I didn't regret it. I had fun losing and having fun with Yat & Aida. Thanx for coming, u two. Bcoz of u guys, I really enjoyed myself. Not to forget, Marina, Aiman & Mad too. We rawks. Haha. At least, now I have the experience but that's it. I'm NOT going again. Haha. Seriously, I'm useless... or even a burden to the team.

Soulmates, we are

I was very tired and sleepy when I arrived home that evening from paintballing. Performed my isya' prayer, took a rest while dina was cooking, ate dinner, then straight away went to bed. Called and talked to hubby for awhile until both of us fell asleep. That was around 9pm, London Time. Being not a light sleeper, I don't usually wake up in the middle of the night unless I've had like 10 hours of sleep or my alarm goes off or I had a nightmare. But this morning, I woke up at 4+am. Wondered what happened since I didn't have a nightmare, my alarm had not went off and I've only slept for like 7 hours. Not wanting to get out of bed, I went back to sleep and woke up only at 6.30am. Only then, I once again call my bf to wish him "good morning". Then, I asked him, did he just wake up too. He said, no... he woke up like 2 hours earlier. Owh, that explains it... that explains why I suddenly woke up at 4+am. heh. Miss u more & more, honey. Can't wait for u to be here again ;)

Should i or should i not

Help! I'm in dilemma. Should i go to Jitsu training or not? After 2 weeks of resting, my arm does feel better (except for the part that i can't make it straight). However, yesterday, while rushing to school and pushing my way into the tube, my arm got stretched and it hurts again. I have been absent from Jitsu training 2 weeks now. I really need to go for this weeks' training but with this arm, i don't know if i can do anything at all as orange belt syllabus involves a LOT of breakfalling. Pre-grading is just 3 weeks away... I really wanna grade with Mimi, Priscilla, Laura and all.

hey u

last weekend, when i called my father, i was so excited. haven't been able to share stories and listen to his sarcastic jokes for a long time. i was really glad that things starting to work out again between us. i do miss the ol times. but i always thought that i could only get one or the other, dad or hubby. was kinda worried but didn't actually believe that the theory would hold. i mean, i'm quite confident my relationship with hubby is pretty strong. 2 nights after my "reunion" with my dad, hubby's not so in a good mood anymore. owh my. i really can't have both huh? well, my wish is everyone's happy with their lives. Loves Papa and Can't Live Without Hubby... Yeah, that's all i wanna say. Dun wanna put extra pressure in my already tight head.

Poor left arm

Last Friday, I went for Jitsu alone since Mimi was really not well. Training went on as usual. Not that fun coz when Mimi & Laura aren't there and Robert Craig had to be the guy standing in the middle, I had to go first. (And I am always lost and blurr.) After a troubled-dizzy session, I have to practise groundfighting with Priscilla. On a 2nd day of period, I was not really into it. Already sleepy and tired (from lack of iron during period, I think), I had to do it anyway. We fought for a couple of minutes until energy was all drained out of the body. Up to a point when I was trying to stabilize myself onto the ground with my left hand, Priscilla jumped on me from behind. I fell down, broken my balance and my left hand bent the wrong way. Felt some bones clashed but lucky me, I didn't break any. Just some torn muscle. But that was enough to make me a little bit 'handicapped' for awhile.
Wore slings at Hana's bday party (Natte put it on for me), had Aida and Jid tied up my hair, Mimi put on my jacket, Dina decided to order in on the day I should cook... hmm, not that bad actually, now that I think of the "perks". But it was kinda difficult to work with 1 hand. I wouldn't think it would be that hard. Maybe we sometimes take for granted things that are not so important, like for a righthanded person like me, the left hand. But when it is taken away from u, u'd feel how difficult life is without it. Having difficulties to take a shower, put my shirt on, sleep, carry my hot chocolate etc. But everyone's been supportive especially my housemates and even my far-away-hubby. Thanx guys. U r the best. Last word b4 I continue doing my hw, appreciate the little things u have around u for when it's gone, u r going to miss it. Syukur to Allah for ALL the blessings we receive in our lives. ;)
p/s: my forearm is now kinda blue-ish. A normal sign, I was told. Getting much2 better; can move, can touch, can feel, can carry my mug upstairs. Just can't be fully bent or straighten, move heavier objects and grip tightly. So I guess, no worries =)
